About Carovana Romantica
For over forty years, Carovana Romantica has offered a unique way to experience Italy behind the wheel of a vintage or classic car. Since 1982, this exclusive international touring rally has welcomed only 25 - 30 crews each year, creating an unforgettable journey shared among passionate enthusiasts.
Each edition follows a brand-new route, covering around 1,200 kilometres over eight days through Italy's most captivating regions and Mediterranean destinations.
From UNESCO World Heritage sites to medieval villages, scenic vineyards, winding country roads and hidden gems far from the usual tourist routes, every mile tells a story.
More than a driving tour, Carovana Romantica is an authentic cultural experience. Carefully designed itineraries allow participants to meet local communities, discover regional traditions, savour outstanding cuisine and wines, and enjoy the music, folklore and timeless atmosphere that make every destination unique.

Eligibility
To preserve the unique atmosphere and friendly spirit of the event, participation is intentionally limited to just 25 up to 30 vintage and classic cars built between 1928 and 1969.
Priority is given to pre-war and particularly significant historic automobiles, ensuring a remarkable and harmonious collection of cars that reflects the elegance and heritage of every edition.
