This information, drawn up pursuant to Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/18 and Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), relating to the protection of natural persons, with regard to the processing of personal data and their free circulation, is intended for users of the website www.carovanaromantica.it and provides information about the processing of personal data in relation to the download and use of the site.
1. TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
The online services provided by the website www.carovanaromantica.it require the prior registration of the User's (Participant) personal data for registration to one of the motor events reserved for owners of vintage cars and members, organized by the Mediterranean Escapes International Association.
The use of the online services provided by the website or the online registration to one of the motor events involves the processing of the following types of personal data:
So-called "common" personal data of the Participant/s: (such as, for example, personal data, address, tax code, landline or mobile telephone number, email address, type of car, license plate, type of insurance, driving license, etc.)
Usage data: the website www.carovanaromantica.it is hosted on the Wix.com online platform through which we offer our services and motor events to members and owners of vintage cars. Your data may be stored via the data memory, databases and general applications of Wix.com. Your data is stored by them on secure servers, protected by firewalls. The Wix.com platform may collect personal information about your use of the site such as information generated in the context of the use of the service provided with the Platform, such as log data, or data relating to licenses, installations and configurations, data relating to registrations made, interaction and transaction processes, performance indicators, data relating to navigation flows and page views, usage and counts of features.
2. SUBJECTS OF THE TREATMENT
The data controller, pursuant to articles 4 and 24 of the GDPR, is the Mediterranean Escapes International Association, Fiscal Code: 95159420637, with registered office in Naples (ITA) at Via Tasso 69 is.5 - Postcode: 80121.

The individual Participant/s, instead, holds the role of "Interested Party" of the processing.
3. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
The data provided will be processed in compliance with the conditions of lawfulness set forth in art. 6 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) for the following purposes:
A. Management and administration of motor events reserved for members, owners of vintage cars: such as booking hotel services, catering, booking and access to museums, cultural sites, sending requests for access to restricted/reserved areas (such as ZTL) in municipalities or other public places and in general the performance of all management and administration activities of motor events, shows, exhibitions and trade fairs, including the determination of the debit and credit positions (credits and debits) of individual participants, also in relation to third-party suppliers, consultants etc.
B. Execution of the service contract of which the interested party is a party or execution of pre-contractual measures adopted at the request of the same: (art. 6, co. 1, lett. b), provided by the Mediterranean Escapes International Association also through the Platform (online service) Wix.com.
C. Execution and fulfillment of obligations under the law, regulations and community legislation, including the execution of communications to the competent authorities and supervisory bodies and to comply with requests from them (art. 6, co. 1, letter c);
D. Pursuit of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller: such as, for example, a) asserting and defending the rights of the Mediterranean Escapes International Association, also in the context of debt collection procedures, as well as to carry out checks for the purposes of preventing and/or repressing fraudulent or harmful actions; b) the management of any disputes or complaints (art. 6, co.1, letter f), the communication to unsatisfied third-party creditors, who request it, of the data of participants/members in relation, for example, to hotel or catering services; c) the management of any disputes with third parties (third-party natural/legal persons, banks, insurance companies, professionals, etc.).
E. Communication purposes: by registering and participating in the motor events organized by the Mediterranean Escapes Association, the participant, member gives his/her consent and release and authorization free of charge and without time limits, also pursuant to articles 10 and 320 of the civil code and articles 96 and 97 of law 22.4.1941, n. 633 “Copyright Law”, to the publication, transmission and/or diffusion in any form of audio, video or photographic material in which he/she and/or his/her vehicle appear represented or are in any case recognizable.
The publication/dissemination may take place:
on the Association's website www.carovanaromnatica.it
on the social channels of the Carovana Romantica event (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter);
on printed paper and/or on any other means of diffusion/publication, even atypical;
The aforementioned material will be stored in the association's computer archives and I acknowledge that the purpose of such publications is informative and informative. The video-photographic material will not be used for commercial purposes. The authorization excludes any use for profit and the transfer to third parties.
In consideration of the circumstance that the aforementioned material, once made public, can be acquired and republished by third parties, even without the consent of the participant/member (interested party) and/or the Association, with the act of registering and participating in the events the participant/member (interested party) releases the Mediterranean Escapes Association from any prejudicial effect that may arise from an abusive or incorrect use by third parties of the aforementioned audio-photo-video material, and irrevocably waives any right, action or claim arising from the above authorization.
F) Marketing purposes
The data may also be processed for marketing purposes, such as sending periodic newsletters, postal sending of information and promotional material, communication by email, post or telephone of promotions and updates on events
The processing of data for this purpose requires your prior consent, pursuant to art. 9, par. 2, letter a) of the GDPR. You may object at any time to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes, including profiling if connected to such direct marketing. Your data will not be processed for these purposes without any consequences with respect to the contractual and associative relationships with the Mediterranean Escapes Association and the use of services.
4. LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
The processing of the data provided for the purposes referred to in points A), B); C); D) and E) does not require the consent of the interested party, since it falls within the case provided for by art. 6 letters b) c) and f) of the GDPR.
The processing of the data provided for the purposes referred to in point F) for specific purposes (marketing) and/or particular categories of data (for example, sensitive and judicial data) are processed with the prior consent of the interested party pursuant to art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) and pursuant to art. 9, paragraph 2, letter a).
5. METHODS OF PROCESSING AND SECURITY MEASURES
The processing of your personal data will be carried out both manually and by means of computer and/or automated tools, according to the principles of correctness, loyalty and transparency within the limits permitted and with the methods provided for in this information, and in any case in compliance with current legislation, protecting your privacy through technical and organizational security measures to guarantee an adequate level of security and with techniques that allow the separate processing of data belonging to "special categories of personal data", (art. 9 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the GDPR), from your other personal data.
These treatments take place at the headquarters of the Mediterranean Escapes International Association and/or at the external Data Processors who carry out the processing on behalf of the Association.
5. OPTIONAL NATURE OF THE PROVISION OF DATA AND CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR POSSIBLE REFUSAL
The provision of personal data for the purposes referred to in points A) and B) C) D) E) is optional but necessary for the provision of services. Refusal to provide data does not allow the provision of services and the use of the website. The provision of your data for the purposes referred to in point F) is entirely optional and does not prejudice or limit the possibility of using the online services provided through the website.
6. COMMUNICATION OF PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data may also be communicated or made accessible to other parties that it is essential to involve in the processing for the purposes of this information, to the extent that this is permitted by current legislation (e.g., Third Party providers of assistance and consultancy services with reference to the activities of the sectors (by way of example only) technological, accounting, administrative, legal, insurance, Banks and Credit Institutions, Insurance, other Professionals).
These parties may act as independent Data Controllers or may be appointed as Data Processors or persons authorised to process data, depending on the case, in accordance with the law. The identity of these parties may be known by making a request to the Condominium in the person of the Administrator p.t.
Your personal data will not be disclosed in any way.
7. DATA RETENTION PERIOD
The personal data collected in relation to the methods described above will be retained for the duration of the associative relationship between the participant and the Mediterranean Escapes Association, for the duration of the provision of online services provided through the website www.carovanaromantica.it and for the following 10 years (period of limitation for any contractual liability), in compliance with the principle of "minimization". This does not apply to cases in which retention for a subsequent period is necessary for any disputes, requests from the competent authorities or pursuant to applicable legislation.
The data will be retained in a form that allows identification of the interested parties for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed, based on the principle of "limitation" provided for by art. 5, paragraph 1, letter e) of the GDPR.
8. DATA TRANSFER
The Wix.com Ltd Platform, on which the website www.carovanaromantica.it is hosted, is based in Israel, a country recognized by the European Commission as having an adequate level of protection for the personal data of EU natural persons. The Wix.com platform also has group companies and third-party companies around the world, so it may process personal data in other countries, if necessary. Personal data is stored in the platform's data centers located in the United States of America, Ireland, Japan and Israel.
Any transfer to a third country, outside the European Union, which does not ensure an adequate level of protection recognized by the European Commission, will take place in accordance with the Standard Contractual Clauses as well as other technical, contractual and organizational safeguards.
The Wix group companies and third-party service providers who store or process personal data on behalf of Wix are contractually committed to guaranteeing the protection and security of the data, in accordance with industry standards and regardless of any lower legal provisions applicable in their jurisdiction.

9. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTY
The interested party Member/Participant may exercise the rights referred to in articles 13, paragraph 2, letters b), c) and d), 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21 GDPR (where compatible with reference to each data processing relevant for the purposes of the GDPR) by contacting the Data Controller (Associazione Mediterranean Escapes Internatinal), and specifically:
obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of Data concerning him/her, even if not yet registered, and their communication in an intelligible form;
obtain the indication: a) of the origin of the Data (if they have not been obtained from the interested party); b) of the purposes and methods of the processing, as well as the related legal basis; c) of the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; d) of the identification details of the Data Controller, the Data Protection Officer (if appointed) and any representative designated pursuant to art. 13, paragraph 1, GDPR; e) of the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the Data may be communicated or who may become aware of them as designated representatives in the territory of the State and as managers; obtain: a) the updating, rectification or, when interested, the integration of the Data; b) the cancellation (where the latter does not conflict with the legislation in force on the retention of the data and with the need to protect in the event of legal disputes the Data Controller Administrator or the Manager who processed them, within the terms set out in art. 17 of the GDPR), the transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of personal data processed in violation of the law, including those whose retention is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the personal data were collected or subsequently processed; c) certification that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, including their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disclosed, except where such fulfillment proves impossible or involves the use of means that are manifestly disproportionate to the right being protected;
revoke at any time any consent given.
if the conditions set forth in the applicable legislation exist, you have the right to request the transmission of the data provided to another Administrator/Condominium and/or for further personal uses, in a commonly used format that can be read with the most common applications.
you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - Guarantor Authority (the contacts of the Guarantor for the Protection of Personal Data can be found on the website www.garanteprivacy.it in the event of unlawful processing or delay in the Data Controller's response to a request that falls within the rights of the interested party.
10. HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHTS

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. The processing of personal data for the purposes set out in art. 3, point F) requires your explicit consent, pursuant to art. 9, par. 2, letter a) of the GDPR. The revocation of consent in relation to one or more processing purposes, as listed above in art. 3) may result in a limitation in the use of one or more functions of the website www.carovanaromantica.it or the impossibility of using it.
